L. Beaudet Obituary

L. W. "Ace" Beaudet, 82, of Manchester, NH went to the Lord after a long battle with Alzheimer's/Dementia.

He was the son of the late, Donald and Anita (Bonin) Beaudet. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester, NH. Ace served in the United States Coast Guard from 1960 to 1964, worked for the local Teamsters Union 633 as a truck driver, until a serious motorcycle accident left him as an amputee. Ace enjoyed riding his Harley for many, many years with his beloved wife, Mack. They traveled the back roads of New Hampshire every weekend, his favorite ride was the winding roads along the river in New Boston.

Ace was a strong Roman Catholic who's faith was everlasting, always saying his rosary where ever he was...especially on the front porch where he could see the majestic golden cross atop Ste. Marie's Parish. Ace was a parishioner at Ste. Marie's for most of his life. Ace was also a member of The League of a Thousand Men at Precious Blood Monastery.

Ace is survived by his loving wife, D. Mack (Gelinas) Beaudet of 47 years, who was his best friend and love of his life, who he said, knew him more than he knew himself. His wonderful daughter, Leah Beaudet Beauchesne of Manchester, NH, who was the apple of his eye and told her every time he saw her "Love you, Miss you". Ace was known as "Pepere" to his 4 grandchildren, Nicholas Deleel and long time girlfriend, Jessica Trottier, of Manchester, NH; Melissa (Deleel) Cote and her husband, Harold, of Manchester NH, twins Austin Deleel and Alex Deleel, both of Manchester, NH, 3 great-grandsons, Karmine, Colton and newborn, Jasper. Ace also leaves behind a brother, Arthur Beaudet of Goffstown, NH, a sister, Lillian Lachance and her husband, Gil of California; Denise Lemaire, and her husband, Pierre-Paul, of Canada, also many nieces, nephews and friends. Ace also leaves behind sister in law, Carol Chenier and husband, Ray of NC; brother in law, David Gelinas of Laconia, NH. Ace is pre-deceased by his sisters, Monica Morin and husband, Leo; Connie Morin and husband, Adrian, sister-in-law, Charlotte Beaudet, his in-law parents, Omer and Eva (Paquette) Gelinas and all his Gelinas "outlaws": Eddie, Andy, Dickie, Irene, Harry, Robin, Debbie and Donald.

The members of Ace's family would like to thank the caregivers at the Pathways Hospice for the wonderful care they gave him.

There are no calling hours. A private service will be held.
