Lorraine L. Moran

PEMBROKE -- Mrs. Lorraine L. (Whittier) Moran, 73, of Pembroke, passed away on December 4, 2018 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a sudden illness.

Born in Pittsfield, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Elthan and Lorraine (Duclos) Whittier. She was raised and educated in Pittsfield and resided in Pembroke for the majority of her life.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a front end manager for Sam's Club. She also worked at various retail outlets throughout the years. She enjoyed flea markets and wintering in Florida. Above all else, she cherished the time spent with family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Daniel B. Moran, Sr.; her two children, Daniel B. Moran, Jr. and his wife Marie Hanson of Pembroke and Kellie Tursunovic and her husband Samir of Pembroke; her sister, Donna Bagley of Florida; grandchildren, Brandon Saturley, Joshua Saturley, Sarah Tursunovic, Matt Hanson, Nick Hanson and Katelyn Hanson; and her great granddaughter, Kasandra Saturley.

SERVICES: Calling Hours will be held on Monday, December 10th from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Petit-Roan Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 11th at 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, Allenstown. Services will conclude at St. John the Baptist Cemetery Chapel.
