Nancy Duda Obituary

EPPING - Nancy Elizabeth Duda, 83, died suddenly on Dec. 22, 2012, at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, after a brief illness.

She was born March 3, 1929, in Georgetown, Mass., daughter of the late Edgar G. and Hazel M. (Dalton) Schwartz.

Nancy grew up in Georgetown, Mass., and was a graduate of Georgetown High School.

Nancy's family moved to Japan as her father was in the military, and there she met George Duda, as George was also in the military. The couple fell in love and wed on March 3, 1949. They were blessed with having five children and Nancy was a devoted homemaker for the family. They resided in Richmond, for five years and then Colchester, Conn., from 1962 to 1973 until George's passing. Nancy had been a longtime resident of Epping since 1978.

Nancy's main focus was the happiness of her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. For many years as an animal lover, she attentively enjoyed raising and training horses and dogs. She also enjoyed cooking and landscape painting. Nancy was a proud member of the New Life Church of Raymond.

She is survived by her four sons and daughter-in-laws, George and Denise Duda of Nixa, Mo., Paul and Lana Duda, long term missionaries to Latin America, Steven and Maureen Duda of Raymond, and Tom and Leona of Nottingham; her daughter and son-in-law, Teri and Todd Bilodeau of Epping; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Donahue of Manchester, and many nieces and nephews.
