Nelson a cyclist of note. When I was a kid, we'd ride every Thursday at Bryer motorsport park and later NHIS. He was twenty plus years older than most of us, balding with a bit of a belly, a human cycling wonder in a world of skinny guys. He gave tirelessly to his local cycling community and was a great friend to all on two wheels. May the wind be at your back Nellie.

Dear Family,
I was one of Mr.Aldrich´s more unsuccessful math students from Sunapee High School days but that had nothing to do with his great talent as a math teacher or his desire to form new Einsteins but rather my intellectual reluctance.
I remember his patient - for the most part- efforts in compulsory math class and can only imagine his great relief when students such as myself declared ourselves free of the mandatory requirements for graduation and pursued more literature and arts courses. But Nelson had his great successes as well; I still remember reminiscing with classmates about what a wonderful teacher he was and how he enjoyed working with the advanced level students.
What i also remember is that he was highly regarded and, I know, will be long remembered.
God bless him and his family,

So sorry about Nelson, my old neighbor of 12 years. Someone told me today that he had passed on the 12th while we were celebrating Veteran's Day on the common. I have fond memories of my neighbor in his garden letting me take some of his clay pots. I was just thinking of sending him a Christmas card.
