Norman Beliveau Obituary

HOOKSETT -- Norman L. Beliveau, 61, died unexpectedly March 31, 2011, at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester.

He was born May 23, 1949, in Manchester, son of Phyllis (Hoffman) Turner and the late Lionel Beliveau. After his father died when he was an infant, he was raised by his mother and her husband, James Turner, of Hopkinton.

He was raised and educated in Manchester and graduated from West High School. He worked for Verizon/Nynex for many years as a cable man and in special services. He then went on to work for the Harris Corp.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, camping and canoeing.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, family members include his wife of 41 years, Linda (Davis) Beliveau of Hooksett; son Jonathan Beliveau of Aliso Viejo, Calif.; daughter Kristy LaRoche of Penacook; two sisters, Joan McCullough of York, Maine, and Connie Dubeau of Orlando, Fla.; many nieces and nephews.

IN HIS LIFE: He is survived by his two grandchildren, Zachary and Elizabeth LaRoche.

SERVICES: Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall St., Suite 105, Manchester 03101; or the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, No. 110, Bedford 03110.

He will be greatly missed especially at "Fish Camp". I enjoyed having Norman in the back of my canoe. We enjoyed "jawing" together! We will always remember the good times we had at "Fish Camp".
