Philip Stone Obituary
Phil was born on June 17, 1938 in Concord, NH to Philip Sr and Marguerite Stone. After graduating from high school Phil married and was blessed with a daughter Pam and two sons Gregory and Bryan. Phil worked many jobs including truck driving, construction work, and running his own Construction Company.
He was also the superintendent of highways for Canterbury NH for 26 years. He was devoted to doing and did the best job possible for the Town of Canterbury.
Phil was an avid and accomplished hunter as well as an excellent athlete.
In 1990 Phil met and married the love of his life and soul mate Cindy(CJ}. They built a home and life together in Canterbury and later moved to Andover, NH.
Phil was a generous, witty and dedicated individual who loved his family and friends. And especially enjoyed spending time with his children and gramdchildren. He spent many a days hunting with and helping his friends.
Phil is predeceased by his parents Philip Sr. and Marguerite Stone, Canterbury, NH, his brother Stephen Stone, Canterbury, NH; brother Donald Stone, Penacook, NH; and sister Brenda Lakin, Warren, NH.
Surviving family members include his wife Cindy; daughter Pam and husband Glenn Ruesswick; son Gregory Stone and wife Donna; son Bryan Stone, grandsons Max and Gabe Ruesswick; granddaughters Megan Stone; Delanie Stone and Nathan Nugent; and brother Douglas Stone.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for December 3, 2022 at Alan's Restaurant of Boscawen, 133 N. Main Street, Boscawen, NH from 2 to 5. Service at 2 to 2:30 with reception to follow.

I remember Phil so well as we lived next to each other in Canterbury. My sister Joyce and I use to go down and helped milk the cows and his Dad would give us a gallon of milk for helping. We shared many adventures together which developed a long time friendship. My deep sympathy to you Cindy and all your family.

Dear Cindy, Doug, Pam, Greg, and Brian,
We have just heard of your loss and wanted to write a few words.
Phil was a kind and good neighbor to us. He was always willing to help us out. A few years back he came down to our house because Paul and I wanted to interview him for the town history record. He grew up on this farm and as we walked around for over an hour, he told one great story after another. It is a very special memory for us.
