To Darlene and family,
So sorry for the loss of your Dad, Darlene. Ray was the kind of person you couldn't help but love and enjoy his company. He always had a smile, a gentle hug and a kind word for everyone. His life was a beautiful example of a true disciple of his Savior, the Lord Jesus. Ray, you will be missed!

I will always remember the days where he would pull up to the softball fields in the big red convertible, as cool as an old guy can look in a land boat, to watch us play. My Dad was a frequently there too and they struck up a bond as they watched us play. I was very grateful for that. Darlene would often bring Penny to the game which made for fun downtime as we waited between games. During one hot summer game he became concerned that the heat was too much for Penny so we ended up using the cooler spicket to pour cold water on her to cool her down. I will never forget the sigh of relief that came over him and quickly became a ritual of sorts for weekend tournaments to follow. Darlene, Mike, the rest of the family I am truly sorry for your loss. I will miss the smile and warm handshake he always would greet me with. May he rest in peace.
