My sister and I had Dr Joy and we absolutely loved him. My mom used to tell how I sat on the table and I'd talk to him the whole time he was caring for me. I saw him as being like my grandfather. God bless Dr. Joy and all his friends and family.

Thank you everyone for taking time to write such loving words about my Dad. I printed your memories for my Mom and me, as we will cherish them.
My Dad was one of the best men I've ever known, and I am lucky to say that he was one of my best friends. He and I shared decades of love, fun, laughter, and you name it, that I will take with me for my life time. For the reasons you have stated, and so many more, I always have and always will be proud to say I am Dr. Robert Joy's daughter. He helped so many people because he truly cared and wanted to make children well, and their parents feel at ease.
I love you always Dad, and I will forever miss you. You will live in my heart and soul as you always have. I will take you where ever I go in my life, and you will journey with me until I am back with you. Sue Joy

Dr Robert Joy was the epitome of a perfect Pediatrician. He was a warm, sincere, one of a kind physician who was loved by his patients, parents, nurses and staff. I had the pleasure and honor as his nurse @ Manchester Pediatric Group for a short time. We were very lucky to have Dr. Joy with us in the delivery room when my first son was born 26 yrs. ago. I looked forward to his & Joanie's Christmas card every year. We will miss his happy smile & warm heart! Our deepest sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.

Mrs. Joy and Family,
I am very saddened with the passing of Dr. Joy. May his memory be eternal.
At this time of sorrow,
May these truths sustain you ...
Your loved one will always
Be as close as a memory,
And the God of all comfort
Will always be as
Close as a prayer.

May my good friend Dr.Joy now rest in eternal peace. He will continue to share in the love of our Lord in Whom he placed his daily faith and trust.
I feel privileged to have known him for many years, and often reflect on traveling with Bob and Joanie to many interesting and historic places around the globe.
His kind spirit and great knowledge in the medical field served his many young patients well. His warm and gracious personality, laced frequently with great humor, will always be remembered.

I am more than middle aged now and had the privilege of having Dr. Joy as a pediatrician when he was in practice with Drs. Costello and Jalbert. He was kind and so smart. Even as a child I could figure that out. He personified what his generation was all about..dedication and love of his profession was evident. May he rest in peace.
