MERRIMACK -- Russell Zamoida, 67, died Feb. 3, 2010, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester.
He was born in Milford, Dec. 22, 1942, to Lucille (Kornik) and Nicademus Zamoida.
He was employed at the Burbak Companies in Wilton as a mechanical inspector.
He was also a former part-time police officer for the town of Pittsfield.
IN HIS LIFE: In addition to his mother, of Shelton, Conn., members of his family include his wife, Shirley A. (Taylor) Zamoida of Merrimack; three sons, Jeffrey Zamoida of Huntingdon, United Kingdom, and Richard Zamoida and Daniel Zamoida, both of Manchester; a daughter, Cheryl Zamoida of Hudson; a sister, Claudia Hughes of Shelton, Conn.; two stepdaughters, Cindy Gibbons of Wilton and Sherry Carpentiere of Lyndeborough; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Nadia and Kersten Zamoida and Ryan, James and Jodye Gibbons, and Kaylee Parkhurst; two great-grandchildren, McKenzee Parkhurst and Codi Gibbons; and several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A memorial reception will be held in the George R. Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m.
