Shirley Theis Obituary

Shirley E. Theis, age 86, was born in Lynn Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on March 18th, 2023. She graduated from Lynn English High. She and her late husband, Albert Theis, and their daughters Karen Theis Brown and Kristin Button lived in Candia, NH. Shirley was know for her good humor, quick wit, and love of a good debate. She had many talents and was an award winning quilter and oriental rug maker. She and he beloved husband were adventurous and enjoyed many exploits together including; fox hunting with Karen and son-in-law, world travel and ocean sailing. She also shared her love of horses with her grand-daughters Hannah and Micah, cheering them on at competitions and Pony Club endeavors. She shared her love of the Lord and enjoyed attending her church "on the hill" faithfully. She remained steadfast in her patriotism for America throughout her life. She is survived by her two daughters, her brother John and wife Jean, step-daughters, and numerous grand children and great grand children. The funeral will be held at her church, Candia Congregational Church, on April 1, 2023 at 6:00 with a reception to follow to celebrate Shirley's life.
