Stephen Smith Obituary

Stephen D. Smith, 70, resident of Mont Vernon, NH, died on September 29, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Valdosta, Georgia, a son of Andrew J. and Sybil (Beaudoin) Smith.

Stephen worked in the building industry for most of his life. He was extremely patriotic and enjoyed arguing politics with anyone that would engage him.

Stephen was a U.S. Army combat veteran having served two tours with the 1st Calvary Division in Vietnam.

Family members include his wife, Susan D. Smith of Mont Vernon, NH; a step-brother, John Duggan of Milton, MA; a step-sister, Anne Marie Gean of Hingham, MA; a sister-in-law, Linda Lenhardt of Marietta, NY; and three nieces.

His family would like to give special thanks to the OTLB.

Memorial visiting hours are on Thursday, October 5th from 6:00-8:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. To share a memory or offer a condolence, please go to www.smith-heald.com
