Thomas Minnon Obituary
A respected leader in his industry, Tom was employed as an architectural specifications manager with Tubelite Inc. for the past four years. He enjoyed being involved in the Derry community, was a past president of the Derry Energy and Environmental Committee as well as initiator of the annual Junior Solar Sprint event in Derry. He loved to garden and was very proud of his koi pond. He will forever be remembered by his family and friends as "Mr. Fix-it".
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Hope (Johnston) Minnon; a son, Mark Minnon; two stepsons, Derek and Colin Cass; two brothers, Robert Minnon and wife Joan, and John Minnon; as well as six step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: After cremation, an hour of visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, May 30, in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, followed by a celebration of his life at 11 a.m. His brother-in-law, Charles G. Banks, Esq., will conduct the memorial service.

Deer Minnon family: I have been meaning to reach out to Tom for a long time on LinkedIn. He was my manager at two firms; United States Aluminum them and Serious
Materials. I have worked for many companies and have had many bosses. None was better than Tom, who is more of a friend and confidant than a superior. He was one of the few people that truly supported the people under him versus the majority who were simply task masters.
I am certainly very saddened by Tom`s untimely passing, and feeling bad about not looking him up much sooner. I will always keep Tom in my fond memories.

tom was a very sincere and caring man. My Son passed away three years ago and Tom made an amazing effort to have packages of flower seeds made with my sons name and sent too our family . He will be missed both as a friend and a work mate. peace for him .

Tom and I worked together for several years at United States Aluminum Corporation. Tom was an industry leader and well respected by all that knew him. It was very sad for me to hear about Tom's sudden illness and passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Tom and my paths did not cross nearly enough as he was always a pleasure to be around. Tom was and will remain one of my favorite people in the industry.

My deepest condolence to the all of the family & friends of Tom! I worked with Tom at YKK AP & had the privilege of traveling with his several times on a tour of several northern sales territories! I learned so much from him over those weeks about our industry, but he also made sure that this southern girl got to see & experience parts of the North as we made our way around. I still have picture of us at Niagra Falls between customer calls! Those are some cherished memories! I was honored to call his a friend & will greatly miss him!
