Timothy McLeod Obituary

Tim lived in Plymouth NH and attended Plymouth Area High School graduating in 1984.

Tim attended Manchester Vocational Technical School In Manchester NH, graduating in 1986 with a degree in Building construction.

Tim was an active lover of the outdoors and fitness. He worked on the EMS team in Waterville Valley, Waterville Valley Fire Department, and was part of the Mountain Search and Rescue Team.

Tim was involved in a snowmobile accident in 2000 at the age of 35, and was paralyzed from the neck down. Being quadriplegic changed Tim's life. He was forced to change positions from the caregiver, to one of being cared for. Tim often struggled with being the cared for, instead of being able to care for others. He strived to overcame these challenges and regained some of his adventurous self, finding ways to become mobile.

Tim's desire was to become an advocate for those who were paralyzed. His adventurous side was contagious as he found ways to ski, kayak, and attend Bike Week in his later years.

Tim is not survived by any close family. He was supported by close friends, as he succumbed to medical complications. His adventurous spirit, loving heart, and steadfast beliefs, impacted those who were close to him.
