Zoitsa Kitsis

Zoitsa Kitsis, 93, of Manchester, NH, died June 10, 2022, two days after her husband's death, surrounded by her loving family, at Courville Manchester, after a period of declining health.

Born in Fourka, Greece on April 19, 1930, she was the daughter of Efthimios and Agorou (Tentas) Giotas. She immigrated to Manchester, NH, in July of 1966, with her husband and children.

Until her retirement, she was employed at Pandora Industries for many years.

Zoitsa loved life and her family dearly. She took great pleasure in cooking and feeding her family and dear friends. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Those who knew her will never forget her warmth and kindness. She will be deeply missed. May her memory be eternal.

She was married to her beloved husband of sixty-seven years, Georgios "George" Kitsis. He died Wednesday, June 8, 2022. She was also predeceased by her two brothers, John Giotas and Agothokles Giotas.

Family members include a daughter, Christina Samaras and her husband, Dimitrios; a son, Deno Kitsis and his wife, Nicky Kitsis; five grandchildren, Christos, Maria, George, Angelica, and Christina; and two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Dimitri.

Services: Calling hours are Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 10 to 11 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.

A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 11 AM, in the cathedral.

Burial will proceed in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, NH.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
