Andrew DeWitt Obituary
URBANA – Andrew "Andy" Neil DeWitt, 53 of Urbana, Ohio, passed away on Sept. 21, 2023, in his residence.
He was born on Nov. 25, 1969, in Springfield, Ohio to Richard and LaDonna DeWitt. Andy enjoyed working on cars, he worked on car models when he was a young kid. He loved fishing, shooting guns, and riding dirt bikes. Andy enjoyed listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd, White Lion, Journey, and Eagles. He was also a welder for over 30 years. He enjoyed hanging out with his work friends and non-work friends. Andy was a very social person and never knew a stranger. Most of all Andy enjoyed spending time with his family.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Michelle DeWitt; daughter, Amber Nicole Lynn DeWitt; mother, LaDonna DeWitt; brothers, Rick DeWitt, and Dan (Kathy) DeWitt; as well as his nieces and nephews, Dusty DeWitt, Brian DeWitt, and Sara (J. Alex) Dietz.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard DeWitt, and brother, Ed DeWitt.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2, 2023, at VERNON FUNERAL HOME in Urbana, Ohio.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023, in the funeral home.
A private burial for the family will be held.
