MECHANICSBURG - Dustie L. Stewart, 40, of West Liberty, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in Mercy Health Hospital, Urbana.
She was born March 23, 1980 in Columbus, Ohio. Dustie was a 1998 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School. She was a private caregiver for elderly or disabled clients in their home. Every person she cared for became family. She also provided care for Hospice patients.
She enjoyed shopping, bingo, crafts, organizing poker runs, playing Texas hold'em, but especially, spending time with her daughter.
She is survived by her parents, Brenda (Dixon) Eitel and Daniel Dye I, her daughter, Tilly Kate, siblings, Daniel Dye II and Julie Dye, her niece, Josie Dye and nephew, Grayson Dye, aunts and uncles, Jerry Dye, Leeann Musser Chupp, Dan Dixon, Dave (Becky) Dixon, Jeannette Cordle, Rosemary (Dan) Rhoades and Jane (Dave) Smith, as well as many cousins and friends, including a very special friend, Bill Sadler.
Dustie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Telia and Ray Dixon, Ann Claude and Herbert Dye; aunts and uncles, Judy Castle, Joyce Dixon, Bill Blackburn, Linda Crew, Nelson Dye and Dave Cordle; and her stepfather, John Eitel III.
Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending.
Private funeral service will be held Friday, December 11, 2020 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Mechanicsburg, Ohio with Pastor Mimi Ault officiating.
Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family at Vernon Funeral Home, 257 W. Main St., Mechanicsburg, Ohio.

She was a good person good life long friend I will never forget her and the time we shared growing up. I always had fun with her and I will miss you badly. I will send prayers to her family in hopes they may find peace with her passing.
