Great man. Great family. We will never lose sight of Doug's smile, and we will never forget the good Glens Falls times we had with Doug and his family. Your star is forever fixed in our (Emerald Knight) sky!

So sorry to hear of Doug's passing. As a basketball official, I met Doug when he coached at Hamilton and his boys played many years ago. He was always a kind and respectful man. My condolences to Lois and family.

Even as a kid, Doug displayed that magnetic smile he greeted everyone with. At the end of his ninth grade year at HCS, Doug's Student Council campaign speech in front of the entire school stole the show. He proposed installing a pool table in a particular room, and added, "...and you know that air conditioner in the Superintendent's office? That's gonna be in the pool room." Doug was special, a great schoolmate, teammate, and friend. He lived a great life, but way too short for his loving family and friends. We will so miss you, Doug.
