Jo Moore Obituary
Utica
Jo Cecilia Moore RN, age 65, passed away June 24th after a long illness. She was born in Utica, NY, June 28, 1947 to Joseph and Ellen Platts Zupkas. She completed her nurses training at the old St. Luke's, worked at St. Luke's for several years and later worked for over 25 yrs at Utica Psychiatric Center, retiring 4 years ago. She was a dedicated member of PEF, serving for many years as a Council Leader, Regional Coordinator and as a long time Executive Board Member. Jo Cecilia was predeceased by husband, John (Jack) Moore; sister, Della Marie Burns; and both her parents. She leaves behind her companion of 27 years, Leo Francis Stockbridge; son, Michael Moore; sister, Katherine Dubinsky; brother, Richard Zupkas and Edna; Uncle Hercules and Aunt Jean Platts who she cherished deeply; many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and special long time friend John Musa. There will be no calling hours and the burial will be in Kirkland Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
