John Waldron MacEnroe died on August 7, 2010. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday (today) from 4-6 p.m. at Nunn & McGrath Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica. Memorial services will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. from St. John the Evangelist Church, New Hartford. Private inurnment will be in Gerald B.H.Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Wally. I remember the time he taught me to do push ups while clapping my hands on the up stroke. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Pat and family, The Lord has added another blossom to His Garden as He welcomes John into his heavenly home. What a wonderful life John was blessed with, providing services to so many and I'm sure he instilled all these gifts the Lord gave him in his beloved children and grandchildren. We are all a Breath Away From Heaven and pray we all are as ready as John was. The obituary was awesome and I cherish all the wonderful memories I have of you and John and your gifts of goodies you always brought to your office visits. John always had a story to tell us and brightened up our day. Now he is up and on his way to Touch the Face of God.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember you well and often speak of how you,.... Mrs. MacEnroe,... brought hot dogs to the N.H. playground for the Bennett children on Thursdays for the hot dog roast!
