Julia Setzer Obituary
Scottsdale, AZ
Julia (Julie) Lee Setzer, 68, Scottsdale, AZ, passed away peacefully into the arms of God on February 19, 2011. Julie was born September 1, 1942. Julie gave her life to medicine, receiving her surgical training at Duke Univ. Julie worked as a surgical tech. at Faxton Hospital in Utica, NY, and Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. Julie was an avid golfer and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her loving mother and father, Cora Lee and James Setzer, and her sister, Grace Setzer Sowards. Survivors include her sister, Della Kelly; brothers, James and William Setzer; and many loving friends. Julie's celebration of life will be on March 31, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Dayspring United Methodist Church, 1365 E. Elliot Rd., Tempe, AZ. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Dayspring United Methodist Church.
