Patricia B. Ryan

Patricia B. "Nina" Ryan, 64, of Sauquoit, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Pat was born on December 6, 1947, in Amsterdam, NY, the daughter of James and Irene (Kinowski) Botch. She was a graduate of Amsterdam High School, Utica School of Commerce, and SUNYIT. Pat considered The Arc truly part of her family, the individuals as well as the staff. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Surviving are her mother, Irene Botch; daughters, Deborah Torchia and good friend, Gregory Drennen, Kelly Ryan and Wilfredo Cotto; son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Kimberley Ryan; grandchildren, Ronnie Torchia and Lindsay Crowe, Danise Torchia and fiance, Jeffrey Evans, Kristofer Torchia, Robert Hodge and his fiancee, Tasha Misiaszek, Courtney Randall, Casadey Randall, Jenna Randall and Carissa Cotto, Michael Ryan, Mark Ryan, Jarrett Ryan, Jake Ryan, Hunter Ryan and Madison Ryan; great-granddaughter, Julianna Evans; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah Botch and companion, Christian McCann, Judith and Norton Gusky and Sandra and Jack Heffernan; former husband and good friend, Michael Ryan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Pat will be missed by her canine companion, "Lily". Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday, May 17, 2012, from 4-6 p.m. at Nunn & McGrath Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 18, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Sacred Heart and St. Mary Our Lady of Czestochowa, 201 Main St., New York Mills. Pat's family extends their gratitude to the staff of St. Elizabeth Medical Center, especially Dr. Ferraro and Dr. Bramley, nurses, Gary, Gayle and Debbie for the compassionate and loving care shown to Pat during her stay. Flowers are welcome or remembrances in Pat's name may be made to The Arc Oneida-Lewis Chapter. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Messages of sympathy at www.nunnandmcgrath.com
