Philip Thibault Obituary
WATERVILLE/UTICA - Philip "Tony" Thibault, 69, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Waterville Residential Care Center.
Tony was born on April 1, 1952, in Utica, the son of Leonard and Ruth (Steph) Thibault. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Utica College. Tony was a Senior Computer Programmer for the Albany Health Department.
Tony is survived by cousins, Peggy (Tim) Ellis, Tim, Matt (Heather) and Katie Ellis, Hailie and Maddie Potter, Sammy Ellis, Bonnie Boone Whaley; numerous other cousins; along with special friends, Patricia and Bob Wilcox.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Ruth Thibault; siblings, Grace and Suzanne; special aunt and uncle, Bill and Peg Boone; cousins, John Boone, Jr., Robert and Patricia Boone and Barbara Gaudette.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 5, at 11:00 a.m. at McGrath, Myslinski, Karboski & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica. He will be interred near his beloved parents in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Tony's name may be made to Waterville Residential Care Center or the Epilepsy Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Tony's family thanks Colleen Marris and Laura Wratten from the Waterville Residential Care Center for their kindness and compassion shown to him and his family during his stay.

Philip was one of my very first little school friends. I remember being so happy when I knew he would be in attendance at any school function.......I have never forgotten how much I truly cared for him and I pray he enjoys eternal peace and joy....
