Cynthia Thibault Obituary

Cynthia A. Thibault
Lynn - Cynthia A. Thibault, of Lynn, passed away on Monday February 23, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a lifelong Lynn resident, and the daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (Tracy) Thibault.
Cindy graduated from Lynn English High School and went on to work at Lynn Hospital before raising a family. As her children grew older, she re-entered the workforce as a postal worker in Lynn before transitioning back to healthcare as a phlebotomist at Salem Hospital.
Born a twin, Cindy and her sister Cathy were inseparable friends, sharing a love for the finer things including coffee at any time of the day, tarot cards, fortune readings, and tootsie rolls. They shared the bond that only twins do up until Cathy's passing in 2021. Cindy was at her side then and now joins her in heaven.
Cindy also had a talented, artistic side and not only created beautiful flower box paintings, holiday wreaths, and ceramics, but also encouraged others to find their artistic inspirations. She loved music and for a brief time in the early 90's her children were convinced that her radio only played Meatloaf rock ballads.
Despite her modest means, Cindy was known to give more than she took and always had space at the inn for anyone. If someone was in need, she was either helping without being prompted or encouraging one of her children to take up the task.
Cindy's passion was her family. She took on the role of caretaker for several family members providing comfort and support effortlessly and without complaint.
The role she cherished most was that of grandmother. Nene, as she was dubbed, rarely missed her grandchildren's athletic events, birthdays, holidays, or an impromptu family gathering. If her grandchildren were there, so was Nene, with a bag of thoughtful presents and candy in tow. No bargains were left in her wake when Nene was shopping for her grandchildren.
Cindy is survived by her children; Nicole Dulong, Ryan Dulong and his wife Theresa, Steven Dulong, Daniel Dulong and his wife Rachel, Jonathan Thibault and his wife Margot, Isabella Thibault, her grandchildren; Nate, Madison, Timmy, Chloe, Tyler, Anabelle, Gwen, Vivi, Jack, Joey, and extended grandchildren McKenna, Maddox, Lucas, Logan, Lily, Leo, Lily, Michael, Dimitri, Anthony, Alexandra, Madison, Juliana, and Marissa; her siblings; Michael Thibault and his wife Denise, Brian Thibault, Paul Thibault and his wife Valerie as well as many dearly loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Cathy, and brother-in-law, Jay Oliver.
Service Information: Visiting hours will be held on Monday March 2, 2026 from 4-7PM at SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME 426 Broadway (Rt129) Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial and celebration of life to follow in spring. Online guestbook at www.Solimine.com.
