Robert Bowee Obituary

Robert Bowee, Jr.
Cassville
Robert Bowee, Jr., 59, passed away on September 23, 2009, at St. Lukes Hospital. He was born in Utica, a son of Robert Bowee, Sr., and the late Joan Moreton Bowee, and received his education in Bridgewater schools. Bob loved the outdoors and enjoyed the many times spent hunting, camping and fishing in the Adirondacks and on the St. Lawrence River. He is survived by his fiance, Patty McNitt; his father and his fiance, Robert Bowee, Sr., and June Pavia; his three daughters, Serena Bowee Hull and Curt, Tracey and Jim Bice, and Stephanie Leiter; his three sons, Jamie Bowee, Robert Bowee, III, and his fiance, Teresa Land, and David Bradshaw; his two sisters, Linda and Craig Wilcox and Kim Ernst; his four brothers, Danny and Darlene Bowee, Dale Ernst, Paul Ernst and Fred Williams, Jr.; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bob was also blessed with many special friends, including Dale and Joan Effner and Kevin and Carol Casanova. He was predeceased by his step-mother, Mary Ellen Bowee, in 1991. In keeping with Bobs wishes, there will be no calling hours or formal funeral service. Instead, his family would like to invite everyone to his son Bob IIIs home at 1363 Stone Rd. in Cassville to celebrate his life on Saturday, September 26, beginning at 1:00 in the afternoon. His family would like to thank the nursing staff on the 6th floor at St. Lukes Hospital, especially Lynn Entwistle, for the exceptional care he received during his stay there. Arrangements are with the Smith Funeral Home, 3022 Oneida St., Sauquoit. To view Bobs online memorial, please go to: www.smith-funeralhome.com
