Jeanette "Cookie" L. Bartlett, 78, passed away at her home on February 3, 2026. Born on November 27, 1947, in Utica, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Hilda (Inman) Bartlett.

Jeanette was a familiar and beloved face to friends and coworkers alike. She was known for her warmth, quiet humor, and steady presence that brought comfort to those around her. For many years, she worked at the bakery in Hannaford; where she contributed to the creation of baked goods and happily indulged her sweet tooth. Most notably, she cherished her cinnamon crunch muffin topped with vanilla buttercream frosting - a daily ritual she never missed during her first break.

Cookie held a deep love for her family and often spoke fondly of her sister and her parents, sharing happy memories of her childhood. Those stories reflected the pride she carried for her roots and the love that shaped her life. Her days - and her heart - revolved around her many sheep and her other cherished pets. She found great joy and purpose in caring for them.

Cookie's life was humble and quiet, yet filled with pride, devotion, and happiness in the simple things she loved most. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her steady kindness, and the warmth she shared so freely with others.

Family and friends will be invited to her Graveside Service in the Spring of 2026 at the Sauquoit Valley Cemetery, 2592 Church Street, Sauquoit.
