Robert Pflanz Obituary
Robert F. Pflanz, Sr. passed away, Wednesday, June 9, 2021, in the compassionate care of his wife, Sandra Lunn-Pflanz.
Bob, as he was known to his friends and family, lived life his way never missing an opportunity to enjoy the dance.
He was predeceased by his parents, Velva and Elmer Pflanz, Sr.; his brother, Elmer, Jr; and Kathryn Pflanz, his love of over 50 years; and his daughter-in-law, Dawn (Williams) Pflanz.
Bob is survived by his end-of-life companion and wife, Sandra Lunn Pflanz; his two sisters, Mary Jane Kohlbrenner and Peggy (Wiley) Jones; his five children and their families, Robert Pflanz, Jr. and son, Anthony; Michael (Debra) Pflanz and their children, Miles, Noelle and Katie (Shawn); Bonnie (George) Newberry and their children, Crystal, Joshua and Theresa (Khalid), Richard (Robin) Pflanz and the baby of the children; Donna Pflanz-May (Joe) and their two girls, Dakota and Demi. He will be missed by his children, grandchildren and his ten great-grandchildren, who also knew him as Santa.
The family will receive family and friends this Saturday, June 19th at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, NY 13901 from 9-11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11.
In lieu of flowers consider making a donation to Broome County Chow or your local food pantry.

I liked your Dad very much he was a nice man. He enjoyed his life to the fullest. Many times he tried to teach me how to bowl, but I am not that good. Now when I hear thunder I know Bob hit a strike. GOD'S BLESSINGS.

IT IS SO STRANE BECAUSE I WAS THINKING ABOUT BOB AND WONDERED IF HE WAS UP HERE FROM FLORIDA, SO SORRY ABOUT HIS PASSING TO ALL HIS FAMILY. I ALSO LOST BILL DAVIS IN FEBRUARY. I DON'T REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I SAW HIM. I KNOW HE LOVED HIS FLEA MARKET. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE MY OLD FRIEND, NANCY EHRETS

Remember Bob... he was our welder and fitter in the Heating Plant at Binghamton University. I was fresh out of school and quite young. He made quite an impression on me as I watched him apply his trade. Never one to be pushed he took everything in stride. He was a pleasure to work with.
