Delores Swanson Obituary
Lobie was born on February 10, 1929 in Charleston, SC to Estelle Breedlove Dunlap and Alexander Dunlap. She had a brother, Col. Jack Dunlap and two sisters Gladys Gabriel and Dorothy McKevlin.
She was predeceased by her husband Harold in December 2011. She was also predeceased by her son Kent and her daughter Karen.
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Anne and beloved son-in-law Robert Heuman and cherished granddaughters Mary Jacqueline and Inde, all of Stamford, CT.
After living in West Hartford, CT and Parsippany, NJ, she and her husband moved to Wiliamsburg where they spent many happy years among friends and the kindest of neighbors.
Private services will be held at Magnolia Cemetery, Charleston, SC. In lieu of flowers, please consider a charitable donation in her memory to Near & Far Aid, P.O Box 717, Westport, CT 06890 or online at nearandfaraid.org, or to a charity of your choice.
The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 is honored to assist the Swanson family with the arrangements.
