Hope that all family members and friends are healing from the loss of this great man Legacy. Judge Leonard L Williams was truly a devoted father and also a friend to my father; Morris L. Simms Sr. and family. I paid tribute to your legacy and contributions and civil rights for the city of Wilmington Delaware by painting this picture for the 2022 Black History Month of your years of pursuit for justice, civil rights, education and love and laughter for the the local citizens. I thank you for your support of my artist career through the years and all your encouragement. You always were a very positive mentoring person as a civil servant for our city of Wilmington Delaware. We all were so blessed to have you in our history.
S.l.P. Honorable
Judge Leonard L Wiliams

He was a terrific guy. We went to the University of Delaware together. In 1956, I set up a clandestine radio station in the dorm, and Len would broadcast his jazz wisdom on the Bud and Len Night Train Show. A good fellow to share a dorm with. We would wrestle sometimes, and he usually won.
