Dear Family,

I´d like to offer my sincere thoughts of sympathy and understanding to all of you.
I am a very old friend of Nanette, Bobbie, and Bill.
I recently came across Nanette`s obituary and even though it´s been many years, it actually took my breath away.
We all had lost touch over the years as
folks sometimes do.

Nanette´s mother, Bobbie, was a very dear friend. I spoke to her briefly before her own passing. I can honestly say she left a mark on my soul that I have never forgotten.
There are a few people that can make you feel TOTALLY accepted and fully loved. Bobbie was one of those people.

Nanette, like Bobbie as I remember it, both had larger than life personalities. Nanettes beautiful smile could just melt you, even as a young teenager.

Bill and I shared Bible studies at various locations back in those days. Somehow I considered them an extended family. Sadly I rarely if ever mentioned this. So now is my chance I guess.

My prayer is that God`s peace goes out to you all... And thank you Bill and family for sharing your beautiful mother and sister with us.

I was so saddened to hear of Nanette´s passing! I had the privilege of getting to know Nanette from our years working together at Williamsburg Community Hospital. She was such a beautiful lady and had a beautiful smile. I will miss her and only wish I had spent more time with her. Much love to her 3 beautiful children and grandchildren.

Nanette was a very special friend...she made high school and nursing school( where she was my big sister) much more bearable. She was great to work with at Williamsburg Community Hospital where we began our nursing careers, she always had a bright smile, a calm and gentle manner, and a helping hand ever ready...traits that also made her a great maid of honor for my wedding. She possessed a special sparkle that I´ll never forget. Nanette, thank you for being my friend, you´re gone too soon.

Nanette will always hold a special place in my heart, we were great support for each other and had a unique kinship. I was fortunate our paths crossed. I can't believe she's gone. Thanks for selecting a perfect photo of her bright smile!

Sad to hear that Nanette is gone from this earth. Thrilled to know she is with Bobby in heaven. I remember many bus rides to LHS, and Bible Studies at the Powell House. Nanette, like her mother Bobby, lit up a room when she walked in. My sympathies to all of her family and extended family. Meanwhile, looking forward to us all being together praising Him in heaven.

I am so saddened by news of Nanette´s passing. She was one of the most sweetest, kindest loving people . Every time we spoke all she talked about were her kids and grand babies. This world is a better place simply because you lived in it my old friend. I will miss your sweet smile and that Southern drawl. Fly high Nanette, fly free my sweet friend. Till we meet on the other side.

Soooo many memories of childhood as she was there for roller skating parties, so many sleep overs. I was so jealous of her beauty from childhood to adulthood. Simply beautiful. I´m soooo proud to call her my friend and cherish our memories. To her children....she was soooo loved and cherished by myself and her school friends. She touched our lives and know the touch she gave to each of you will live on. Nothing like the love of a mother nor her loss. God bless you all. She is with you always and forever
