HARLINGEN, TX.-
Jose N. Chamberlain, 69, was born on June 28, 1941 in Corpus Christi, Texas and passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Harlingen, Texas.
He was a lifetime resident of Harlingen, and served in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Calixto & Anita Chamberlain, and his sister, Gabriela Rodriguez.
Jose leaves behind his loving family to cherish his wonderful memories including his wife, Sylvia Chamberlain of Harlingen; children, Robert (Karla) Chamberlain of McAllen, Joey Chamberlain of Austin, & Blaine Chamberlain of Harlingen; brothers, Alfredo Chamberlain of Dallas, Frank Chamberlain, Calixto Chamberlain both of Harlingen, Narciso Cham-berlain of San Angelo, & Conrado Chamberlain of Harlingen; and sisters, Margaret Ortiz of San Benito, Mary Jimenez of Round Rock, & Yolanda Diaz of Harlingen.
Visitation was held yesterday with a holy rosary that was recited in the evening at Trinity Funeral Chapel.
A funeral mass will be held today, April 29, 2011 at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church with interment to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park Cemetery in San Benito.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Ruben Chamberlain, Robert Cham-berlain, Conrado Cham-berlain, Calixto Cham-berlain, Frank Chamberlain, & Alfredo Chamberlain.
