Juan Martin Garcia

1966 - 2016

Harlingen, TX - Juan Martin Garcia, 49, went home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2016 at Harlingen Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 15, 1966 in Mercedes, TX. He was a lifelong resident of Harlingen, attended public schools and graduated from Harlingen High School Class of 1987. He was an avid Harlingen Cardinal fan, he also liked the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. Juan worked as an insurance agent selling pre need funeral plans and most recently was a taxi driver for Airport Taxi.

He is survived by his only brother, "Lupe" Guadalupe Garcia (Jeannie), Sisters, Romelia (Rosendo) Jacobo, Roselia Trevino and Ramona Garza (Adam) and 12 nephews and nieces.

Juan is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Manuela P. Garcia and a sister, Maria Isabel Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday beginning at 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Marilanda Torres of Samaria Church officiating. Chapel Services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 AM at Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow to Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to be pallbearers are Guadalupe Garcia Jr. (Guero), Frankie Garcia, Adam Garza Jr., Fabian Jacobo, Jerrica Garcia, and Roby Jacobo.
