Laguna Vista, TX.-
Zdeneck Daniel Tesar, 93, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 at his residence in Laguna Vista, TX.
Dan was born on December 13, 1919 in Czechoslovakia to Frank and Barbara Tesar. He was a boat captain for many years and retired from Offshore Logistics.
Dan was a former resident of Florida and moved to Laguna Vista several years ago. He loved boating and fishing and he loved ``life'.
He is survived by his sons, Wade Tesar of Panama City, FL and Lewis Tesar of Greensboro, FL; stepson, Kenneth West and daughter-in-law, Joan West of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Jessica West Garris; brother Eddie Tesar; friends, Mary and Israel Gonzalez of San Juan, TX; ex-wife: Kathy Owen of Charlotte, NC; niece, Gwen Lamaire of Kaplin, LA; and very special friend, Rosie Mejia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Tesar.
Dan's ashes will be buried in Kaplin, LA.
The family of Dan Tesar wishes to give very special ``Thanks' to the following person: Rosie Mejia, a very dear friend and caregiver to Dan, her devotion to him was a total ``God' sent. She not only cared for him but she loved him with all her heart. We will never forget her. Also ``Thanks' so much to Mary and Israel (Winnie) Gonzalez for also taking such good care of Dan over these years.

I really know that GOD opened his gate door on Saturday March 16, 2013 and welcomed Dan with his open hands and open heart.
Dan was such a wonderful man. He was so loving and so caring and just such a wonderufl person. Dan will be missed on this earth but will live in our hearts forever and a day.
