Peter Faulk Obituary

Peter Joseph Faulk, 85, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024, in Venice, Florida, and is now forever free.

Born and raised in Port Washington, New York, to the late Henry Faulk and Josephine Click. He was the loving brother of Helen, Alice, Evelyn, Paul, JoAnn, and Linda.

Peter was married to Pamela Chesney from Great Neck, New York for 62 years. Peter and Pam lived in Levittown, New York before retiring to Venice in 2004.

Peter served four years in the Navy and was stationed in Key West, FL. He was a lifelong avid fisherman and lobsterman on Long Island Sound. Peter worked as a Glazier and Supervisor for the Port Washington School District for 42 years.

He was a member of the Manhasset Bay Sportsman Club and also belonged to the American Legion Post #159. He served as the Clubhouse Chair in the Patios of Chestnut Creek and helped many of his neighbors in the community and could be often seen riding his bike around the neighborhood.

Peter is survived by his wife Pamela, son Peter C Faulk (Irma), and predeceased by his son, Paul B. Faulk. Also grandchildren: Andrea, Peter J. II, Jessica of CA, Jonathan and David of Sicily, and great-granddaughter Camila of CA, niece Lorraine of FL and her husband Joseph Iovino, great-niece Julianna and great-nephew Travis Erichsen of Florida and niece Dina Allen, of CA and nephew Anthony C. DeStefano of Florida.

Peter was interned with Military Honors on December 20, 2024, at 12:30pm, at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72 Sarasota FL 34241.

In lieu of flowers, contributions, and memorials can be made to the Grace Community Bible Church of Venice, FL and the American Legion Post #159, Venice FL.
