Antonio Lemus Obituary
Oxnard
Antonio Javier Lemus ("Tony") died Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 in Montebello, California after a courageous fight against cancer.
Born in Oxnard, California, May 16th, 1975, to Sabino and Luz Maria Lemus, Tony was the fifth of six children. He was an experienced IT professional having received his Bachelor of Science in 2000 in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University.
If you were lucky enough to have known Tony, you would have many stories to tell about his fun-loving nature and extremely generous heart. Aside from being the life of the party, Tony had an adventurous spirit, enjoyed traveling and loved being around friends and family.
Tony is survived by his mother, Luz Maria, his siblings, Jose, David, Diego, Luz and Diana and their spouses, and many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 4:00pm to 10:00pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at the Garcia Mortuary Chapel in Oxnard. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, August 11, 2017 at St. Anthony's Church in Oxnard. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard.

Thank you Tony for all you gave me, for dancing to 80's songs until we couldn't breath. For being such a positive influence. Thank you for being so fun loving, dedicated and attentive. There is no way of ever forgetting you regardless of the time between us.

Tony was an incredible fun-loving person with a huge heart. I don't recall a time when he wasn't laughing loudly. A gathering was never the same and never will be the same without him. He was intelligent and thoughtful and I feel blessed to have had him as a brother-in-law.

Tony was a great friend to me and I had the pleasure of working with him. In fact Tony was the one who hired me at Directv. Tony was always smiling and brang laughter when he was around. I will miss him very much. Rest in Peace Tony.
