Santa Paula, CA
Ben G. Moreno, age 88, passed away on Monday November 27, 2017 after a brief illness. Benny was born in Piru on August 10, 1929 and lived most of his life in Santa Paula. He was the youngest of 11 brothers and sisters. In 1951 he was inducted into the US Army and was stationed in Japan for 18 months and received an Honorable Discharge in 1956. After the service Benny returned to Santa Paula and worked in construction for many years. Coming from such a large family Benny enjoyed going to family reunions and seeing the relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Delfina Moreno, brothers Martin, Salvador, Walter, Isaiah, Samuel, Daniel, sisters Margarita, Domitila and Elizabeth. He is survived by his brother Abraham.
Graveside services will be held Monday December 4, 2017, 11:00 am, at Santa Paula Cemetery. The family would to thank the staff of Vista Cove for their care and attention during his stay and his nurses and doctors at Santa Paula Hospital for keeping Benny comfortable.
