Darryl Martinson Obituary
Oxnard, CA
Born on March 20, 1961. A lifelong resident of Ventura County. Darryl passed away on November 16, 2015.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years Shelly Martinson and sons, Eric M. Martinson and Ryan M. Martinson, his father Theodore Martinson, stepmom Hallie and sister Suzy Martinson.
Darryl served in the Navy for four years and was a member of the American Legion for 23 years.
He loved being outdoors enjoying camping, dirt bike riding, water skiing and playing cribbage.
Darryl loved volunteering time at the fish fries on Friday nights and the spring and fall Turkey Shoots. Darryl was always there to help a stranger at the drop of a hat. He would tow their car, wonk on the engine on the side of the road or give someone a ride.
Darryl was one of the good ones!
He will be missed by family, friends and all that knew him. His pain and suffering is over and is at peace with God.
Service will be held on Sat., Dec. 5 at 10am-1pm , Camarillo American Legion Post 741, 7 Veterans Way, Camarillo.

Darryl will be missed but not forgotten. Although he was taken from us too soon I do believe God had bigger plans for him as an angel in heaven. Prayers to his family.

I am heart broken. I met Darryl when he was 18 and he was an amazing friend. I am sad he is not here and I know he is in Gods Arms. Rest in Peace my dear friend.
