It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Paul Willett on July 11, 2014. David was born in Westchester, California and was raised in Granada Hills and has resided in Ventura County for the past 32 years.
David was a car enthusiast, loved sailing, motorcycles, traveling and enjoyed barbequing and smoking meat for friends and family.
David was a nurse and earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration at LaVerne University.
David is survived by his wife Valerie Willett, daughter Shannon Ketchum and her husband Jay, granddaughters Kendall and Nicole, his mother Joan Willett, brothers Ken and Steve Willett, sister-in-laws Xenia and Kelli Willett and his beloved nieces Kate, Jenessa and Liana and his nephew Jason. He was preceeded in death by his father Norman Willett and his nephew Jonathan Willett.
A service of rememberance will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 18 at Griffin Family Funeral Chapel at 1075 East Daily Drive in Camarillo.
