Dennis passed away peacefully on November 6, 2016. Dennis was born in Hayward Hospital on February 18, 1945 to Tillie and Barney Bianchini.

Dennis graduated from San Leandro High School. He worked part-time in grocery stores to earn spending money while attending high school.

Upon graduating from high school, Dennis joined the Navy Seabees and was sent to Antarctica and then to Vietnam where he earned a purple heart. While in the Navy Dennis met Carole and they were married and settled in Ventura. They both earned an AA degree from Ventura Community College.

Carole passed away on January 2005. Dennis continued working for the Navy as a civilian for the Civil Service at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) from October 1995 to December 2007 as an Equipment Specialist GS-12.

During that time Dennis met Barbara Johnson and they both worked for NSWC at Port Hueneme. Dennis and Barbara developed a close friendship and Barbara was a travel agent at the time. Together they took four cruises the first year that they were together and many bus trips with NARFE (National Association of Retired Federal Employees). During the next eight years, they took several cruises and traveled to various places such as Alaska, Europe, Mexico, Tahoe, Sedona, Napa and Hawaii.

Dennis is survived by older brother Jerry and younger brother Robert and constant companion, Barbara. For eight years, Barbara and Dennis took Jerry and Robert on most of their vacations. Dennis has always been considerate, a warm, generous, humorous, and entertaining guy. He will be surely missed by his loving survivors. We know that Dennis will continue to do well in his next life and, true to spirit, he will continue to be a warm and generous angel.
