Jonathan Shiebler Obituary
Jonathan Scott Shiebler, 50, of Moorpark, was fatally injured in a tragic auto accident on Sunday, July 24, 2011, on his way home from playing golf.
The beloved husband for almost 24 years of the former Debra Florio of West Islip, N.Y., Jonathan served as director of Business Development for ANCRA International LLC of Hawthorne, Calif. He was the devoted son of Sally and Ted Shiebler of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Captree Island, N.Y., and fond son-in-law of Jackie and Dominic Florio of West Islip, N.Y. A graduate of Babylon (Long Island) High school, Jonathan received his Bachelor's degree from Lynchburg College of Virginia. A member of Moorpark Country Club, he was President of the Men's Club. I
n addition to his wife and parents, and his beloved family pets, Willie and Tilly, Jonathan is survived by his sister Amy Shiebler David and her husband Carl, his brother Timothy and his wife Sheila and his brother Christopher all of Laguna Niguel, Calif., his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Anthony and Donna Drummond of Bayport, N.Y., and seven nieces and nephews: Andrew and Sarah David, Jessie and Tyler Drummond and Bill, Scott and Lauren Shiebler.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was celebrated Thursday, July 28, at St. Jude's RC Church in Westlake Village. Memorial services were held at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Mortuary on July 29.

Jonathan and I grew up sailing on Great South Bay (He with Babylon and I with Wet Pants). How small a world that years later we would meet in our Aerospace careers. He was always a gentleman and well respected by all who worked with him with throughout the industry. I will miss his calls to say hello and our occcasional lunches.
My deep condolences to his wife and family and may he rest in peace.
