Lisa Christine Luft-McFall, 41, passed away Nov. 13, 2009, after being involved in an automobile accident in Thousand Oaks. Lisa was born Dec. 18, 1967 in Baldwin Park. She was the beautiful daughter of Lee and Sandy Luft of LaPorte, Texas, and Geri and Ed Frank of Ventura.
Lisa was a devoted mother to three beautiful daughters, Kaylee (19), Ashlee (17) and Carlee (14), who will now be cared for by their loving father and stepmother, Sandy and Cheryl McFall, of Camarillo. Lisa was adored by her sisters, Leann Langolf, Ceslee Luft, and Allison Luft and brother-in-law, Darren Langolf, all of Ventura. She was a wonderful, loving aunt to Keliann Donovan, Cami Donovan, Emma Luft, Brian Hanson and Bradlee Hanson. She was the niece of Betsy Luft of LaPorte, Texas; and great-aunt to Kylee Leann Kraft, of Ventura.
Lisa grew up and went to school in Ojai. After high school, she graduated from La Belle Modeling School in Santa Barbara. She was a talented floral designer for over 20 years, and had been the former owner of Ashwood on Main Florist in Ventura. Lisa was a summer girl who loved flowers and the beach, and called Maui her island. She was a creative, artistic person who was full of life and energy. Lisa loved being silly and making everyone laugh. A private celebration of her life will be held on what would have been her 42nd birthday.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up for her girls. Please make any contributions to the "Lisa Luft Memorial Fund," Attn: Joey Moreno at Pacific Western Bank, (formerly Affinity Bank), 480 S. Mills Rd., Ventura, CA 93003. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura.

Geri and Family,
I'm so sorry for your families loss. Tears and words won't bring her back, and we know she is in a safe place...
I'm sure AnnA was the first to greet Lisa with open arms to welcome her into heaven.
Here is short poem I'd like to share...
Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Lisa, I am sure you have found happiness above, because that is all you deserve. You were a great person, and great people deserve nothing but the best of all. I know I only came in contact with you a few times, but those few times were the greatest. The last time I had came to your townhome in Camarillo with your beautiful daughters, my bestest of friends Keliann Donovan, and her beautiful most awesome mother (your amazing sister) Leann, was the most relaxing time with the ladies that I have had in a while. You were always so full of happiness and so spontaneous. It's so fun to have someone other than myself who is so full of energy and happy over everything all the time. It is too bad that it was already your time to go, but I do believe you have much more to acheive in your afterlife, because you have touched so many already. You have a wonderful family who, if I could express in any form of words I would, loves you so dearly and is the most awesome family in which I admire, since I don't really have one of my own. I will miss you dearly, it's too bad I couldn't spend more time with you and your daughters since I have been a good friend of Keli, Cami, Leann, and Darren since 1998, but I am sure I will meet up with you someday and it will be a good one:) I wish your family the best of luck with their lives and themselves, and most importantly send you all my kisses and hugs and love. Lisa, you will be missed & loved by many so dear, so far away, and yet so near, you are the twinkle to each star, you are the healing of each scar, you are the wind that blows ashore, you are the woman everyone adores, i wish you the best in the life you now live, and my love and compassion for you i give<3

I found an old jewelry box Saturday morning and found a pair of earrings that Lisa had given me for my birthday years ago. I polished them up and was planning on giving Lisa a call to meet for an early birthday celebration, as we are both December babies. I was wearing the earrings and remembering all the birthday celebrations, BBQ's, and fun times we shared with our girls together over the many years of friendship and sisterhood when my youngest daughter, Sierra, called and bravely, with great sorrow in her heart, informed me of my "seesta's" passing.
Lisa lit up the room with her beautiful smile and loving heart. She loved her daughters and family fiercely and was devoted to creating a safe, loving and nurturing home for them to grow in. She was the model of a strong, kind-hearted woman and led her daughters down that path. I know that her sisters have now taken on the task of leading Kaylee, Ashlee and Carlee, along with Geri and the many devoted friends that Lisa made over the years.
I am honored to have called her friend and sister and cherish the many years of good times shared between us.
My heart aches for the loss of such a wonderful person. But I'm finding the burden becomes lighter as I recall the fun times, Lisa's laughter, her kind and giving soul and what an honor it was to have her in my life. I am a better person for knowing her.
Our prayers for strength and good thoughts are with her family and the many friends struggling with the loss of such a great spirit.
Lisa will live on in our hearts with the love and joy for life that she so freely shared. I need only to look into Kaylee, Ashlee and Carlee's eyes to see her spirit live on.

We have fond memories of Lisa. My husband and I had Lisa and other friends over for a few BBQs. We all
enjoyed being around her. I liked how
she always mentioned her daughters. She had an appreciation for her family.
I'm glad we were able to share some time with her.

Our condolences to those who loved Lisa...I only knew Lisa for the short time she lived on Colony Dr. I said hello and introduced myself and tried to make her feel comfortable in a new neighborhood. Never really got the chance to get to know her. Our prayers go out to her family. Sincerily, Bob and Pam Stradling
