I think of the family of Marcella often since her passing. She was a dear friend. I remember when we would talk and laugh and how much she was always so kind and caring. There are people in our lives that are never forgotten and for me, she is one of those people. Every Christmas I baked cookies for the neighbors that were so kind to me and my family. She always thanked me for them and made me feel special. My kids would play basketball with her son in their driveway. He taught my daughter how to make those baskets. Marcella put up with the ball banging on her garage door so they could have a good time. She helped me with many questions I had about taking care of babies, cooking recipes I had no idea how to make. After more than 24 years, she told me about a job opportunity at the school where she worked. It brought so much joy into my life and I had that job for 20 years. When I think of her I am remembering her great laugh and how her eyes lit up with interest in whatever the subject was at the time.
My prayers continue to go her children and their children. I am so lucky to have had her for a friend. God Bless all.

To the children and friends of Marcella,
I am so saddened to hear of Marcella's passing. There are so many wonderful memories of her and her family from the time we moved across the street from them in 1966. She and all of her family are wonderful, caring, loving people and I have been lucky to know all of them. I worked with Marcella at Hueneme High School as we continued to remain neighbors and friends. I had the joy of visiting with her and Mark in Henderson when we were searching for our retirement home. They were so helpful to us. Due to my illnesses, our visits didn't continue, but she will always remain in my heart as a special angel in my life during the good and bad times. I am so blessed to have had her, Ricco, and all the children in our lives for many years. May God Bless the family and feel the love from us.
Linda & Bob Cordero and children Becky, Chris, Sandy and Robby.
