Nova Jimenez Obituary
Our beautiful daughter, mother, sister and friend, was called upon by the Lord, for he realized he had been missing an angel. Nova Lynn Jimenez was born December 26, 1977 in Oxnard, California and went home with our Father Friday, December 31, 2010.
Nova graduated from Hueneme High school in 1996 where she was a cheerleader her senior year. She was very devoted to her family and friends. Anyone who knew Nova knew her ability to touch your heart within seconds of meeting her. She had a large, generous heart, from saving stray cats off the street, to giving you her last buck if you needed it. And who could forget Novas sense of humor? Always making people laugh with here silly comments and goofy dance moves. She would bust out no matter who was in the room! Truly, the world has lost a superstar, but God has gained a gift. We all know youre probably making your mark up there Nova, becoming heavens superstar.
Nova will be greatly missed by many, mostly by her loving parents Raul and Josephine Jimenez, her brother Raul C. Jimenez (Woody), her sister Samantha B. Jimenez (Sam), her beautiful daughter Jayda Angelique Jimenez (Jayda Bug), her grandparents Raul Sr. and Connie Jimenez, as well as aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends. Services will be held Friday, January 7th at 2 p.m. at Perez Family Chapel 1347 del norte rd, Camarillo CA, 93010 Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank acct. 6887512348 for Jayda A. Jimenez. Assisting the family with funeral arrangements is Perez Family Funeral Home, 983-3457, please sign guest book at www.CamarilloMortuary.com.

I can picture Nova in her black stretch pants and sweatshirt with her turtlenecks to match. My image of her takes me back to when we were younger, good friends back then. We grew apart as we got older, went different ways in Jr high and HS. I met up with her when her daughter was just a lil baby and she greeted me with her smile...her eyes were wide and filled with excitement, she was so proud to show me her baby girl. we were standing in the parking lot of sav-ons...Ill never forget that moment. I've know Nova since kindergarten, had my Hueneme High locker next to her where I could always see her laughing & smiling, and last saw her smiling & dancing it up a couple months ago at Candlelight. Although Nova and I were not close as adults, I will ALWAYS remember Nova Lynn. We had a so many fun times together as kids.
