Oxnard, CA
Paul B. Torres Sr. 71, of Oxnard, CA. Paul went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 13, 2016. Paul was born June 30, 1944 to Leopoldo and Sarah Torres. He was a lifelong Oxnard resident. Paul graduated from Santa Clara High school. He retired form the United States Postal Service.
Paul enjoyed playing sports in high school and continued by coaching his children. He coached his son in football with the Oxnard Chiefs and coaching his daughter in softball with bobby sox. He also loved going to the casino, playing cards, fishing and having fight night and spending time with family.
Paul is preceded in death by his wife Rachel, brothers David, Leo and Alfredo Torres and sister Connie. He is survived by his sisters Helen Torres, Mary Benavidez (Jose), and Lupe Valles. His two children, Paul Torres Jr. and Rachel Ramirez (Robert). Two loves of his life Quito and Darlene Gallegos, who Paul helped to raise. Grand children Paul Torres II, Robert Ramirez Jr., Angelica McNeal, Reymond Ramirez and Francisco Torres. Great Grand children Elena Torres, Presley McNeal, and soon to be born Rai Ramirez.
There will be a rosary at Santa Clara Church on Tuesday April 26, 2016 at 6:30 PM and a Catholic Funeral Mass on Wednesday April 27 ,2016 at Santa Clara Church at 10:00 AM. With interment to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard, CA.

To Rachel & Family I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dear Father he is now in Heaven with your Mom watching over you all. I remember your Dad always had a smile he was always good to my brothers and I when ever he gave Dennis a snack he made sure he had one for the three of us. God Bless you all
