He was born March 15, 1932, in Somis, Calif., and was a lifelong resident.
Ray was a television technician for 40 years. He was a member of the Ojai Valley Gun Club and an avid fisherman.He is survived by one son, Alberto Ray Aparicio of Oxnard; one daughter, Angela Rose Aparicio of Oxnard; and two grandchildren, Chance and Daisy Rae Aparicio.
Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Modesta Quiroz.
At his request, no funeral services will be held.
Ray has been entrusted to the care of the privately owned Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home, Ventura, phone 1-805-643-8623.
