Dear Jerry and family,
I am so very sorry to hear about Sandi's passing away. I saw the notice in the Star and still can't believe it.
It has been a very long time since I had seen Sandi but of course at one time we were best of friends, until marriage and life paths took us in different directions. I had heard your family was in Camarillo but we were so out of touch.
I am so sad for your family, for your children and grandchildren, for Mr. and Mrs. Mercer, and for Patty, to lose their dear Sandi at such a young and untimely age.
My deepest condolences go out to all of you.
Very sincerely,
Bonnie Howard Adamick

To the Ahara family-
Even though we always lived thousands of miles apart we connected as kids at Grandpa and Grandma Mercer's house in Packwood, Iowa! We were always thrilled when our California cousins came to visit us in our little rural town of 150 people. I'll never forget the letters we used to write---our worlds were so different but as teenage girls we shared a lot in those letters. We lost touch over the years but still today I am saddened by the passing of my dear cousin.
May God bless all of you and keep you in his care during the coming days.
