Services for Leslie Alan "Les" McConnell, 65, of Vian, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Blackgum Baptist Church.
Mr. McConnell was born on Aug. 15, 1957, in Wichita, Kan., to Mike McConnell and Wanda?Lea (Thomas) McConnell. He died on Friday, June 16, 2023, at his home.
He graduated from Vian High School and attended Tulsa Welding School, but?his true passion was masonry. He had Interstitual lung disease.
Survivors are his wife, Debra; son, Brent and friend McKenzie; daughter, Leslie and husband Quenton; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, Sam McConnell and wife Karen and Nelson McConnell and wife Jackie; one brother-in-law, Jeff Bemo; one sister, Susan McConnell; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah; sister, Denise Bemo; and his parents.
