Edward Charles "Chuck" O'Neal, age 68, passed away peacefully in his home on September 3, 2017. For those whom had the honor of knowing him, know that he had a heart of gold. Chuck lived a full life of joy, surrounded by people he loved and who loved him dearly. Chuck was born in Paris, Texas on November 5, 1948 to Charlie and Amy Ione O'Neal. In the late 1950's the family decided to move to California. Chuck graduated from Tulare Union High School in 1967. He married Sherry Johnson and moved back to Texas for 10 years where they had two beautiful baby girls. Chuck and Sherry moved their family back to California after the passing of his father. After 26 years of marriage, Chuck started a new chapter in his life. He married Cindy Lerda-O'Neal in May of 2000 and has enjoyed spending the past 20 years of his life with his blended family of 5 children, 11 grandchildren, old cars and camping. Chuck retired from Ecolab in 2011 after 32 years of service.

Chuck is preceded in death by his father, Charlie O'Neal, mother Amy Ione O'Neal, first wife, Sherry Johnson. Chuck is survived by his wife Cindy Lerda O'Neal, Tulare, California, daughter's; Stacie (Wade) De Groot, Doon, Iowa, Lori (Anthony) Nunes, Sibley, Iowa, Tiffany (Justin) Penn, Tulare, California, sons; Nathan Lerda- Tulare, California, Joseph Lerda, Tulare, California, brothers; Ken (Lynette) O'Neal, Medford, Oregon, Jerry (Darlene) O'Neal, Visalia, California, eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like extended a warm thank you to all of the medical personal who provided exceptional care for Papa Chuck during our time of need. Funeral Arrangements by Peers Lorentzen Funeral Service, Tulare.

I worked with Chuck years ago at a company called H.B. Fuller. He was a laugh a minute, always had a joke to tell. So sorry for your loss. He was one in a million.
