Kevin Babb Obituary

Kevin Babb

Tulare - Our beloved Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend, Kevin Babb, passed away on Monday August 5th, surrounded by family and friends, after a difficult battle with ALS. He was born in Hanford CA, and moved to Tulare in 1977, when his parents went into business with his Uncle Doug and Aunt Linda at Tipton Market, where Kevin worked after school and on weekends. Kevin graduated from Tulare Union High School in 1985 and immediately went to work at Denny's, supporting his passion for cars. He then moved to Sacramento where he continued working for Denny's, until he moved to Las Vegas in 1990, again working at Denny's until he started his 26 year career as a butler at The Luxor, Bellagio, Wynn and Encore Hotels. He met many of the world's most famous celebrities, including Michael Jackson, the Jackson 5, Jennifer Lopez, Michael Jordan, Carrie Fisher, Elizabeth Taylor, Madonna, Martha Stewart, former President and First Lady Barrack and Michelle Obama, even Saudi royalty. He had many interesting stories that we always loved to hear. He had a smile and kind spirit that was bigger than life.

Kevin is survived by his Parents Bill and Patricia Babb, Sister Kathleen Ebiner, Brother-in-law Tom Ebiner, Brother James Babb, Nephew Jonathan Urias, Niece Kelsey Cardoza and many more close aunts, uncles and cousins. Kevin is also survived by his two biological Sisters Robin Morissette and Stacy Mitchell.

He was preceded in death by all of his grandparents, several aunts and uncles, including his biological mother and biological brother.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to the ALS Association, at alsa.org, or the ALS research institute of your choice.

I wish I had known you as an adult Kevin, I just remember a shy young boy. But the legacy of love & happiness shines through all you touched. How lucky were you to have Aunt Pat & Uncle Bill chose to be your parents-I know a lot of your awesomeness comes from those two adoring parents! I'm thankful your pain is over & pray your family takes much comfort in that. ♥

Thanks Kevin for never making things boring at Bellagio all those years, especially when your sugar level got to low and I had to catch you before hitting the ground. You were and always be a great friend! God Bless you and your Family.
