Leitta Rowell

Leitta (Lee) Rowell Lee, 72 of Dinuba was called home by our Lord on May, 18, 2014. Lee was born January 27, 1942 in Dinuba, California, the daughter of Lonnie and Gladys Simpson. Lee was married to Royce Rowell in 1978 in Reno, Nevada and lived in Dinuba, where they both had a ranch. Lee loved life. She loved spending time with her friends and family, gardening, and she was an avid collector of everything. Especially Chickens! Lee was preceded in death by her sister Susie Stafford of Visalia, CA., daughter Roberta L. Barnes, Dinuba, her two grandsons, Reese Smith and Lonnie Simpson both from Dinuba. Surviving in addition to her husband Royce Rowell, are daughters Sandy Smith and Christie Barnes, both of Dinuba. Stepsons Mike Rowell of Modesto, John Rowell of Dinuba, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, 7 brothers and 2 sisters. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the visitation between 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Dopkins Chapel, 189 South J Street, Dinuba. on Thursday, May 22, 2014. Services will be held on Friday the 23rd of May at 10:00 a.m. also at Dopkins Chapel, Dinuba. The reception will be held immediately following at the Church of Christ, Dinuba.s
