Tulare
Roger Dale Davis Sr. of Tulare, California was born August 16, 1966, son of James and Mary Davis and on May 22, 2015 God called him home to sing with his Angels.
He was married to the love of his life and soul mate Mouretta and they had four children together, Roger Davis Jr. and wife Christina, Whitney Davis, Shane Davis and Garrette Machado, five beautiful grandchildren that always brought a smile to his face, Lana, Marz, Chloe, Bronson and Cas. Along with a sister Jennifer Gregory, nephew Dakota and niece Skylar.
Roger was employed at the Tulare Post Office as a mail carrier for 28 years and very active in his local Union. He had a passion for singing and writing music and shared it through spending many hours doing Ministry work, along with singing and feeding the less fortunate at the Visalia Rescue Mission with his wife and Descendants of Adam Band.
He was loved by many, will be missed by more, he knew no stranger and was always willing to help. To know him was to love him!!!!
Please join us for a Celebration of life for Roger on Sunday May 31st, 2015 at 1:00pm at the Meitzenheimer Community Center, 830 S. Blackstone Street, Tulare, CA. Arrangements are entrusted to Miller's Tulare Funeral Home.

I knew when I attended Roger and Mouretta's wedding that she had met her soul mate and the love of her life. I know he felt the same way. God took him way too soon. His presence in this world made it a better place. May your fond memories of him give you peace, Mouretta. You did have some wonderful, loving years together; always contributing -- never taking. We are all thinking of you. Love you, honey.

Roger I never got a chance to meet you in person, but from the love shown and the all the photos and videos I feel like I've known you a lifetime. Tony and I are so very sorry that Roger left you so soon. God has plans for him, but it sure doesn't help you right now. Keep the faith and continue to do all the things that you both were doing.
